The annual plan announced by the Government of Bangladesh to mark the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Bangladesh from the Pakistanis and the liberation of Bangladesh through a nine-month armed liberation war from 26 March to 16 December 1971 is known as the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh's independence.
